My days are never the same, but in general my time involves a lot of writing and editing, developing content for marketing material, press releases, presentations and social media as well as dealing with media and advertising queries.
WHY I LOVE WORKING IN THE FORESTRY SECTOR
I get to share how remarkable and renewable wood and paper products are and how essential they are to daily life. Although it can be frustrating at times, I love busting the myths about our sector and how green it actually is!
MY ADVICE TO THOSE EXPLORING A CAREER IN FORESTRY
There is a place for every career choice in the forestry and forest products – when in the field or forest, in a mill or behind the scenes.
